Yoga & Meditation

The practice at One Breath of Yoga is rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition, taught by Coco — founder of the ashram and a practitioner and teacher of this lineage for over twenty years. Morning classes happen in our open-air shala, surrounded by the jungle. Guided meditation with Coco is woven through the week alongside the practice — a space to settle, integrate, and deepen what the body is already moving through.

Beginners and experienced practitioners are both welcome. The teaching adapts to the person, not the other way around.

About Coco and the lineage

Sacred Plant Medicine

The practice holds you in the body — breath by breath, day by day. The ceremonies bring you into a deeper connection with yourself, with nature, with what has been waiting beneath the noise of ordinary life.

At One Breath, both have been woven together for over a decade. Ayahuasca, Temazcal, Cacao, and plant medicine rituals are woven through the week, held by Pamela, our experienced facilitator, with full preparation and integration support before and after each ceremony.

Participation is always optional. Every guest chooses their own path. What we offer is a setting where that choice can be made with clarity, care, and the right support around it.

Community

The ashram is a living place. Some of the people you’ll share it with came for a week — and are still here years later. Volunteers, musicians, practitioners — All of them drawn by the same quiet pull — toward connection, toward something real.

Foko cooks. Music in the air. Evenings settle into quiet. The jungle breathes around you. And somehow, without trying, it starts to feel like home.

Wondering if this is for You?

  • You feel at a turning point in your life. That something different is possible, even if you cannot fully name what it is just yet.
  • Maybe you have been practising yoga for years, or maybe you have never set foot on a mat. Maybe you have been curious about plant medicine for a long time, or maybe the idea still feels unfamiliar. Maybe your life looks fine from the outside and you still know, somewhere, that you are ready for something more honest.
  • What brings people here is not a specific background. It is that feeling — and the willingness to follow it somewhere real.
