Amit Benita

Amit Benita is a musician, songwriter, and facilitator working at the intersection of rhythm, voice, and musical expression.

His approach to music is grounded in listening to rhythm, the body, and what wants to emerge, rather than forcing outcomes or perfection.

Amit has worked across cultures and musical traditions, and his work with Music-Flows is rooted in the belief that music is a natural human language that is accessible to everyone.

In this retreat, Amit supports participants in reconnecting with rhythm, voice, and creative flow, creating a space where expression can arise honestly and without pressure.

Natan Rabin

Natan Rabin is a musician, teacher, and creative guide with a deep sensitivity to rhythm, groove, and musical presence.

His work focuses on simplicity, feel, and the foundations that allow music to feel alive, rather than technical complexity.

Natan has guided many musicians through moments of doubt, creative blocks, and self-judgment, helping them find confidence through embodied rhythm and musical grounding.

In this retreat, Natan supports participants in developing clarity, stability, and trust in their musical voice, whether through rhythm, accompaniment, or shared musical exploration.

A day a the retreat

There’s no rigid schedule. Each day follows a natural rhythm designed to support deep creative work.

Morning

Optional sunrise beach walk or yoga, followed by journaling and vocal warm-ups. We begin each day reconnecting with our bodies and voices.

Midday

Guided tools for musical expression — melody improvisation, lyric prompts, rhythm exercises. Then long solo creation blocks where you work on your own piece with optional one-on-one support.

Afternoon

Continued creation time. Group sharing circles where participants can offer what they’ve made if they choose. Gentle feedback in a non-judgmental container.

Evening

Cacao ceremony, group singing, fire circle. A time to close the day together and integrate what emerged.

Practical Information

Do I need to bring an instrument?

If you play an instrument and want to bring it, please do. Guitars and small percussion will be available. Your voice is also an instrument, and you don’t need anything else to participate fully.

What if I’ve never written a song before?

That’s completely fine. This retreat is designed for all levels, including complete beginners. You’ll receive support and guidance throughout, but there’s no pressure to produce anything specific.

How do I get there?

The retreat center is 25 minutes from Cancún International Airport. We’ll provide detailed directions and can help coordinate shared transportation from the airport once you’re registered.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes for movement and warm evenings, a journal, any instruments you want to work with, and an open curiosity. We’ll send a detailed packing list after you register.

Is this a yoga retreat or healing retreat?

No. This is a creative retreat focused on musical expression. While there are optional morning yoga sessions and cacao ceremonies, the primary focus is on creating music and reconnecting with your creative voice.

A special combination

The combination of Ashtanga Yoga and plant medicine rituals such as Kambo, Bufo Alvarius, and Ayahuasca offers a profound path of transformation, weaving together the discipline of the body with the expansion of consciousness.

Through the structured breath, movement, and inner fire of Ashtanga, practitioners purify the physical and mental layers, preparing the vessel for deeper spiritual openings.

In ceremony, the sacred medicines act as powerful teachers, dissolving illusions and guiding participants into the essence of truth, healing, and unity.

Together, yoga and plant medicine create a synergy where the body becomes strong and open, the mind clear and surrendered, and the spirit free to experience the depth of self-realization and connection with the greater whole.
