Yoga & Meditation
The practice at One Breath of Yoga is rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition, taught by Coco — founder of the ashram and a practitioner and teacher of this lineage for over twenty years. Morning classes happen in our open-air shala, surrounded by the jungle. Guided meditation with Coco is woven through the week alongside the practice — a space to settle, integrate, and deepen what the body is already moving through.
Beginners and experienced practitioners are both welcome. The teaching adapts to the person, not the other way around.
Sacred Plant Medicine
The practice holds you in the body — breath by breath, day by day. The ceremonies bring you into a deeper connection with yourself, with nature, with what has been waiting beneath the noise of ordinary life.
At One Breath, both have been woven together for over a decade. Ayahuasca, Temazcal, Cacao, and plant medicine rituals are woven through the week, held by Pamela, our experienced facilitator, with full preparation and integration support before and after each ceremony.
Participation is always optional. Every guest chooses their own path. What we offer is a setting where that choice can be made with clarity, care, and the right support around it.
Community
The ashram is a living place. Some of the people you’ll share it with came for a week — and are still here years later. Volunteers, musicians, practitioners — All of them drawn by the same quiet pull — toward connection, toward something real.
Foko cooks. Music in the air. Evenings settle into quiet. The jungle breathes around you. And somehow, without trying, it starts to feel like home.
Wondering if this is for You?
- You feel at a turning point in your life. That something different is possible, even if you cannot fully name what it is just yet.
- Maybe you have been practising yoga for years, or maybe you have never set foot on a mat. Maybe you have been curious about plant medicine for a long time, or maybe the idea still feels unfamiliar. Maybe your life looks fine from the outside and you still know, somewhere, that you are ready for something more honest.
- What brings people here is not a specific background. It is that feeling — and the willingness to follow it somewhere real.
If that resonates, you are in the right place. Save your spot here

A great transformational sanctuary. The ashram is a very peaceful sanctuary. The ashtanga tradition is upheld and taught with so much care by coco. The plant medicine ceremonies performed by Pamela and Ivan are beautiful and cosmic. I truly had a life changing experience here. The food the place, the practice and journey has been amazing. Would always always recommend!!!

This place is beyond my wildest imagination. I have traveled the world, trained with a lot of teachers and done a previous ashtanga TTC in India, but what Coco and her team has managed to create here is pure magic. There is an abundance of love and personality in all the details of this ashram. Everyday we would wake up to the Shala filled with candles and incense. We’d get deep adjustments from Coco and her team (special thanks to Josh) during our Mysore practice, unbelievable fresh and yummy vegan food, music and transformational ceremonies.

One Breath of Yoga is simply a life changing place. I came in February and instantly fell in love with the community, yoga, music and ceremonies. The next thing I know I have moved to Puerto Morelos 🧘🏻♂️😊 If you are sincere in your desire to truly work on yourself then you will find no better place to do so. Daily Ashtanga, ceremonies, amazing food and living amongst beautiful nature. Coco has created a heaven in the jungle 🙂 Thankyou for everything you have done for me, I love you so much! Gracias mi profesora!
