One Breath of Yoga is a truly mystical and transformative place, deeply nourished by love and dedication. The family (staff) offers a supportive and sacred space where you're encouraged to grow into who you truly are, guided by the wisdom and passion of yoga. I first attended a one-week retreat in 2023, and the experience was so profound that I returned in 2025 to complete my 300-hour YTT. I will definitely come back because this Ashram is also a home.Posted on Gary SmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Coco is a wonderful teacher with deep wisdom and a kind presence. The mix of yoga practice with holistic tools makes the experience truly transformative. The staff is always supportive and caring, which makes you feel at home. The space has a very welcoming community, and it’s a beautiful shala to connect, learn, and grow.Posted on zara kordasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. One Breath of Yoga has become so much more than a retreat for me—it truly feels like home. From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by the jungle, by Coco, and by the energy that flows through this place. It’s not just a retreat you attend, it’s an experience that changes you from the inside out. The days here weave together so beautifully—yoga, plant medicine, food, music, community. Practicing Ashtanga in the shala, surrounded by the sounds and life of the jungle, felt like breathing as one collective body. The ceremonies gave me space to go deep into myself, and I felt completely safe and supported by the most amazing facilitators. Pamela carries such a deep wisdom and presence that makes everyone feel held, while Foko creates absolute magic in the kitchen—his food isn’t just nourishing, it’s alive with love. And then there’s the music… it shook my soul open in ways I didn’t even know I needed. What makes this place so special is the people—the warmth, the wisdom, the care. I came here expecting a retreat, but what I found is a family, a sanctuary, and a home that has touched my heart in ways I never expected. This place has opened me, softened me, and reminded me of who I really am.Posted on el pecao fonda de marTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Súper peaceful place. I found this place or this place found me, 4 years ago, during transition times in my life, and it has been , ever since , a place that I still today, call home. A beautifull family with a sacred space that allows people to reconnect with Nature, with people and with them selves. The concept of Water Therapy was born in that place and we are honored to be part of the family today sharing the MEDICINE OF WATERPosted on Tim GoldsmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I did the 300 hour YTT here in March 25, and I'd just love to do it all over again. The whole experience is magical. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, Coco and Michael are inspirational teachers. The food is incredible - thank you Foku. As I sit at home to write this review nearly 6 months later - I'm missing the place more and more. The photos you can see on the website are totally accurate - yet still they don't capture the beauty and tranquillity of the ashram. It's a very special place.Posted on Amber SteegerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For over four years, One Breath of Yoga has been my home. If you're looking for a place to connect with yourself, with others, with nature, with yoga... this is IT! Coco and the rest of the team here create such a loving, open, and supportive environment for you to explore and to grow. I completed my 200hr and 300hr Ashtanga certifications here and I'd start my trainings over again and again if it meant spending more time in this magical place. The accommodations are comfortable and spacious, the food is absolutely delicious and the entire ashram is so intentionally tended to by such incredible and kind people. From the ceremonies and rituals, to daily mysore and classes, to meals and all the songs in between - you are cared for every step of the way! Take time to nurture yourself and go!Posted on bethanyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
