The Team

Foko De La Pena

Foko is our very own private chef and the wise master for our medicinal food. His passion started as just a 12-year-old boy when he was trained by everyone's favorite chef - his grandma. Suddenly he was rising through the ranks at a private cooking agency while simultaneously practicing yoga under his teacher Michael Stewart, founder of Shanta Vira Yoga. In 2018 his cooking took a more conscious path and led him to study Ayurveda. He offers Ayurveda consultations during retreats and trainings.

Josh Barnes

Originally from the UK, Josh has been teaching yoga and assisting on retreats for over five years. He is Yoga Alliance certified in Ashtanga-Vinyasa (200-hr), Hatha-Vinyasa (200-hr) and Sound Healing (100-hr). Josh is also a talented musician and artist, and is always eager to support others with his unique ability to make people feel good about themselves and see their own talent.

A certified ashtanga yoga teacher, jade is deeply connected and devoted to the lineage of the rose and works closely with women, helping them to reconnect to the feminine magic of the womb, and ground sacred masculine energies through connection to the elements, ritual, bodywork, sound and energy therapies.

Through the practices of Yoga, Music, Ayurveda and Sacred Ceremonies, you will leave with a deeper experience on how to reconnect to both yourself and the natural world. During this process, you will receive a toolkit of rituals and practices that will continually serve to empower and rebalance you after the experience. Be ready to reconnect with yourself, supported by the Mahabhutas or the 5 Great Elements and the Music that ties it all, the sutra.
